The purchase of a new book from the bookstall or vendor, we find some sort of pictures or emblem on the front cover page. We don’t inquire about the picture or emblem as to what the picture says or it likes to tell its object to the reader. In the spiritual science Geetaa, we can see that Sri Krishna (intelligence) master of the chariot is driving the cart (human body ) with 4 white horses and four ropes in left hand with a whip in the right hand to control the chariot ( body) and horses (knowledge sensory organs ) on the road. The sitting place of Sri Krishna in the chariot symbolizes the naval point attracting temptation. The white four horses symbolize the sensory organs attracted to objects on the road, ropes and whips to control the chariot that is a temptation of impure mind on the road ( objects attached with illusion and delusion). The four horses represents pulling the chariot represents the time, pre-destiny, the will of the deities, one own will, good acts, evil acts and mixed acts ( combination of good and evil acts).
Arjuna, the rider (Soul) is standing on the chariot
with arrows and a bow which symbolizes the arms and ammunition that is the
highest consciousness attained from the Sruti, Smriti to fight against the
Kauravas ( bad elements of the environment which are forcing the mind to derail
from the right direction or right works ). Sri Krishna, the charioteer
(Intelligence) is in sitting position, driving the Chariot (sitting on the
naval point ) and directing Arjuna (soul) to fight against the evil force ( the
Kauravas).
The
interpretation of the spiritual science
Geetaa is made on the stand point of
Katho Upanishad. Here, the Geeta is completely interpreted on the basis of our
nervous system. Arjuna is considered to be a rider, the mind ( impure soul)
that receives information through its five knowledge sensory organs of the body
represented by the horses attached with ego and illusion. Sri Krishna, the
charioteer, is considered as intelligence of a human being detached from the
ego, illusion and delusion. The mind ( impure soul) receives information from
five knowledge sensory organs through four white horses named HOI, BAAZI, ARVA,
ASWA and the chariot . The four horses represent the eyes, ears, nose and
tongue. The chariot represents the body or skin. The information collected
through the knowledge sensory organs are delivered in the brain
for scanning through the intelligence to decide between what is wrong?
What is right? What is to be done? What is not to be done? Where the response is to be made? When the
response is not to be made? This is done according to the capacity or the culture of the brain.. The
decision arrived on scanning the brain is known as intellect. The activated
intellect again directs the soul either to take or not to take any action.
On the cover page,
the chariot stands for the human body’s naval point involving in the day-to-day
materialistic experience of life with the received information through four
white horses and the chariot. The wheel
of the chariot is acquiring the day-to-day experience of life. The wheel
represents the attributes of Swatta,
Raja and Tama. The Swatta is for moving the cart upward, the Raja is for
intermediate and Tama is for downwards. The road attracts the materialistic object
with attachment to ego, illusion and delusion. The materialistic objects seen
on the opposite side of the chariot attached to elements of illusion and
delusion are the main enemy of the human being. The materialistic object
elements seen on the opposite side are forcing our mind to involve in wrong
activities instead of allowing it to think perfectly to discharge the right
things. The wrong way thinking mislead us and causes dejection to do the right
action.
The horses are described with their different
parts and the environment according to the BRIHAD ARANYAK first chapter, first
Brahman, 1st and 2nd sloka are described vividly. SWET ASWA the term
Swet means pure and Aswa means sensatory organs . Therefore, the term Swet Aswa
means Pure sensatory organs. ASWAMEDH YAGNYA . The term Aswa means sensatory
organs, Medh means fats of impurity and Yagnya means burning with meditation . Medha
is feasibility for yagnya. Usha is Sira (-head), Sun is its eyes, Air is its
soul, Fire is its mouth, Songbotsar (full year) is its body, Dou is its
backbone and Antariksha (sky) is its abdomen. Earth is its hopes, east and
west, north and south , are its two sides, north east , south east, north west
and south west are its back side. The seasons are its limbs, month and
fortnight are its joints, days and nights are its legs, planets are its bone.
The clouds are its muscles, sands are its half digested food in the abdomen,
the rivers are its nerves. The Hills are its liver and spleen. The AUSADHIs
(light in dark night or remover of sorrow ) and VANASPATIs (blossomless fruits
) are its hair, rising sun is its east. The Jrimbhan (expanded mouth) creates
electricity, shaking body is its thundering cloud. Its urine are rain, its hay
is sound in sky, Mohima (pot or can ) used for yaggna of which one is golden
and other is silver. The front side of golden pot is DAY and the back side of
silver pot is NIGHT, got birth as symbolic of the HORSE. The eastern sea and
western sea respectively are the source of the can or pot . The HOI ASWA
carries deities, BAAJI carries Gandharva Lokas, ARVA carries demons and ASWA
carries human beings.
The wheel of the chariot represents the
day-to-day experience of the life. The spikes of the wheel represent DHARMA (
rules of the law ), ARTHA ( earning materialistic wealth ), KAAM ( to meet materialistic
desire, lust, greed, ego) and MOKSHA ( salvation- liberation from the
materialistic desire, lust, greed and ego ). The road attracts the
materialistic objects, which are attached to ego, illusion and delusion. The
objects seen on the opposite side of the chariot attached to elements of
illusion and delusion are the main enemies of the human beings. The object of
elements seen on the opposite side forces our mind to do the wrong things instead
of allowing us to think perfectly and to do the right things . The wrong way
thinking mislead us to do the right action.
The rope in the hand of Sri Krishna is known as
SWARNACHUDHA is made of coir. The rope
and whip seen in the hands of Sri Krishna ( intellect) in controlling the four
horses are the symbols of Sri Krishna’s application of highest consciousness in
controlling the mind and the physical body to remain detached from the ego,
illusion and delusion and directing the sensatory organs to follow the right
path. The bow in the hands of Arjuna is for targeting the objects attached to
the illusion and delusion that diverts our mind. The pointed part of the arrow
is used for destroying the attached illusion, delusion, ego and lust.
The radiant yellow flag in the chariot is the
symbolization of the flame of fire. The fire burns the impure matter and melts
it for reshaping by the right teacher with a knowledge hammer on the
environmental anvil. The symbol of Hanuman holding a big mountain on hand is
the indication of readiness of a
subordinate to shoulder the responsibility in a given situation ordered by the
superior. The ordered or loaded responsibility may be very big or small that
has to be accomplished with full efforts by the subordinates. The GADAA (
sceptre ) is the symbol of the attitude of an individual to face the
eventuality to achieve the target or to destroy the evils. The bungles in the
hands and legs of HANUMAN is an indication of binding the individuals to abide
by the universal law. The crown on the head of the individuals is to give
equity and justice to the subjects with self confidence and commitment to solve
any problem at the material time detached from the illusion, delusion, ego and
lust.
The kneel down position of Arjuna with left hand on
the left side of the mouth with surrendering bow and arrow to Sri Krishna is a
symbolization of dejection to discharge the right work for the welfare of the
society, due to the incapacity of mind, intellect and body for attachment to
illusion.
Sri Krishna (intelligence ) with the reverse right
hand and conch ( SANKHA) in the left hand directs Arjuna ( the impure soul ) to
wake up from dejection and to involve in the right action. Sri Krishna (
intelligence ) accordingly started counselling in different ways one after
another and lastly with practical demonstration (VISWARUP DARSHAN). Arjuna (
the impure soul ) at the beginning considered Sri Krishna ( the intelligence )
as misleading, later on with the practical demonstration removed all doubts and
considered Sri Krishna ( the intelligence ) as a real friend and teacher.
Arjuna ( the impure soul after regaining the purity- Srijoimaaham todaatmaanaam) accordingly, after the practical
demonstration displayed by Lord Krishna , involved in right action to kill the
enemies.
The
spiritual science Geeta teaches that our SOUL ( pure mind ) is greater than sensory organs as mind ascertains the
knowledge of objects. The intelligence
is greater than the mind ( impure soul)
as it controls the mind in their performances. Unless there is enriched
knowledge and decision power in an individual, the intelligence does not work
properly. The great soul ( pure mind
) is scientific which means institution. The soul can see the reality that is
why the soul is greater than the intelligence.
The AVEKTA ( the unmanifested nature) causes the creation in this universe that
is why it is greater than the soul (
pure mind ). The ABEKTA is having the controlling and destructing power
that why is it also known as greater than the soul.
